Marilyn Ventresca DiChiara is a graduate of the Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut. After working in the commercial field as a graphic designer and illustrator, she now devotes her creative time to developing her skills as a fine artist. Although a painter of several mediums, the characteristics of watercolors are most appealing to her. She has received numerous awards in juried competitions for both her watercolor and colored pencil pieces; two Grumbacher Gold Medallions are included among her many honors. Marilyn is a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society and the Northeast Watercolor Society. She also enjoys sharing her love of watercolor through classes that she conducts at the Renaissance Center in Litchfield, Ct. Her art is on display at the P.S. Gallery in Litchfield, CT. and on Cape Cod, Mass.
